Search Console Tool
Google Search Console (Webmaster Tool) is a free tool introduced by Google for webmasters. Its allow the webmaster to check and optimize visibility of their websites Google Search Console (webmaster tool)Search Console helps you understand and improve how Google sees your site,it help a communication with Google. Search console is used to find and crawl your site. Fix indexing problems and request re-indexing of new or updated content. Anyone with their own blog and published in social media,use search console for Google communication and verified by using your own email address. But if you work for any website,you can choose any of the following verification method for using search console;
- Use HTTP method: Google send a PDF file and just download the file on your desktop and upload it into root directory.
- Use Meta Tag: Google send a code, we just copy paste the code in the head section.
- Use Hosting Domain: Login your website through your hosting platform (Go-daddy)
- Google Analytic: It is also a webmaster tool. We visit that tool and they will track you.
- Google Tag Manager: It is an another tool, this allows users to use their Google Tag Manager account for verification.

Google Search Console dashboard are mainly four menus;-

Search Appearance: Shows the webmaster how his website is set up and how it will look like in search results. Just click on the Search Appearance tab button on the menu bar on the left side, and review the reports and tools inside.
Search Traffic: provides ranking, site keywords that appear in searches, back-link matrix,and the mobile usability of your site. It has subdivided into six,they are Search Analytics, Links to your site, Internal Links, Manual Actions, International Targeting, and Mobile Usability.
- Search Analytics you can see Queries,Page,Countries,Devices,Search Type
- Links to Your Site feature of Google Search Console shows you the websites that are linking to your site.
- Google uses the total number of internal links to a webpage to rank.
- You violate Google’s guidelines, a notification will show up in the Manual Actions sections
- International Targeting feature of help you to assess your HREFlang tags, and identify the errors in them. It also help you attract viewers from other geographies.
- Mobile usability identifies the problems your users might be experiencing while viewing your website on mobile devices.
Google Index: It shows number of indexed pages a website has. Google Index provides the necessary data that tells you on your content’s performance in the SERPs. It resolve indexing issues and remove blocked URLs from appearing in searches.
Crawl: It is very useful report on how often your website is being crawled by Google’s bots. Google crawled your website for errors, broken pages and files on the website, sitemap robots, and URLs.
- Crawl Error : Crawl Errors help you to identify the broken pages from your website. Fixing these errors will surely improve SEO.
- Crawl Stats: Give you a detailed data report on your website’s crawl rate.
- Fetch as Google: You to see how Google fetches and renders your URL. Simply enter the URL you want to fetch and hit the Fetch button to see whether the URL connects or encounters errors, redirects
